Sewing Vlog May 2022

Posted by admin on

Hello sewing friends! In today's video, I'm chatting about all the things I've been up to from March to May 2022. I recap the three videos that I made. Then, I talk about the things I've been sewing and knitting and share the fabrics that I added to my stash. Finally, I chat about what's coming up in June. Plus. there's a cameo from my best cat buddy. I think he’s been missing his screen time lately. ;) I hope you enjoy it!

If the video isn’t working above, you can also watch it on YouTube.

Next month, I will be teaching an in-person quilting class in Venice (West Los Angeles), California. In the class, I'll be teaching the basics of piecing and quilting, while we make quilted pouches (example shown here).

The class is in a small studio, with myself and another instructor so you’ll be sure to get a lot of hands-on help.

June is also Migraine and Headache Disorder Awareness month. Migraines have made a big impact on my life the last year plus so I’d like to do what I can to bring more attention to this very common, yet under diagnosed disorder. To learn more, I recommend this podcast/article: The science of headache disorders by On Point.

Thank you so much for following along and supporting my sewing journey and small business. Besides watching the vlog, the most reliable way to stay up to date on what’s happening at Sew DIY, is to sign up for my (semi) weekly newsletter. Happy sewing!
