I love to sew, and I have seen many people using tailor’s ham, but I never wanted to actually buy one. When I realized that I could make one of these awesome tailor’s ham at home I was so excited. You only need a few simple materials to make this tailor’s ham and since it is such a small project, so it will not take long at all to make. The very best thing about this cool project is that it comes with a free downloadable pattern.
Materials For The DIY Tailor’s Ham: Downloadable Free Pattern All-purpose thread 3/8 yard of fabric (you can use canvas, drill cloth, or wool. You want a durable high heat breathable weave) Sawdust, clean sand, or fabric scraps (for the stuffing) Directions:
In this awesome video tutorial by Professor Pincushion, on YouTube, you will learn how to make this easy project in a few easy steps. You will begin by downloading your free pattern. Then you will cut out the fabric pieces and sew them together according to instructions in the video tutorial. You will leave a small opening and fill the tailor’s ham with sawdust, clean sand, or fabric scraps.

Then, you will close the opening by hand.
