Did you get the chance to vote for our latest U-Pick Sewing Tutorial?

I hope so because it’s time to announce the winning project!

I really love all three projects, but in the end…

The Easy Garment Bag won! There were a lot of voters this month. If your favorite project didn’t win, don’t despair too much. I would still love to make that cute pouch and table runner so I’ll try to get to those when I can. By the way, I have a roundup of 25+ Easy Table Runners to Sew that you might like. :)

Meanwhile I’m going to see how easy and functional I can make this garment bag.

The opening at the top is great because you can use your own hangers - just keep your clothes on them and slip them in the garment bag with the tops of the hangers sticking out at the top.

I love the handles at the top and bottom that you can use to carry the bag when you fold it in half. Maybe I should add a shoulder strap too. What do you think?

This is the back of the garment bag.

What do you think about making it out of vinyl? Vinyl is sooo inexpensive and then you’d be able to see what’s in the garment bag. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below, please!

Watch for my unique version of this cute case in about a week. Then give me a week or so after that to draft the pattern and share it here on my blog. Make sure you are signed up for my free newsletter so you don’t miss it!

xoxo,
