A new set of overalls focuses on fishing and snowsports as its prime demographic

It’s currently raising money on Kickstarter.

Designed to fit under fishing waders and ski bibs, the OV overall is a new concept from the new Canadian brand Sidechannel.

Made of a synthetic twill face fabric lined with fleece, the piece is both water-resistant and comfortable. It’s available in four colors and sizes from small to 2XL. It features a bevy of pockets to stash your small gear.

While there are plenty of ways to layer under waders, the OV overall is a fairly unique design. Given its shape similar to waders, it should provide a pretty turnkey choice for those who want to keep warm while winter fishing.

It also might work well for layering under ski and snowboard bibs, or for long hours on a snowmobile. And given the technical face fabric, it seems you could wear these as normal pants when not fishing or riding. We haven’t tested this model yet, but the Kickstarter has us intrigued.

The Kickstarter has 30 days left, and it’s about halfway to its goal. Should the campaign get funded, Sidechannel will deliver in spring 2021. And you can currently snag the OV for 19% off its MSRP of $289 CAD, about $220 USD.
