Since the viral outbreak closed down schools, I purchased this as a gift for my eight-year-old niece. I thought it could provide some science-based activities and help break up the day of homeschooling with her grandparents. The three of them have had a blast doing all the experiments and activities. They do all require adult supervision so they’re really not meant for kids to do alone. But they’re all safe and came with good instructions and you only need a few extra things to make them work (all are listed in the instructions). Overall, a great price and nicely put together by National Geographic.
