If the deprivation from travel has caused you to lose touch with your knowledge of the world, fret not. LEGO is reacquainting builders with the continents and oceans with the help of an elaborate, 2,585-piece 3D globe kit designed for adults (though flat-earthers may wholeheartedly disagree).

When complete, LEGO’s vintage-inspired ‘The Globe’ can be spun around as you would a regular globe, bringing this planet to your fingertips.

The learning doesn’t stop at the construction process—the set arrives with printed tiles that tell you where you’re looking at. The labels also glow in the dark, which not only creates a sense of wonder but invites you to admire the structure on your nightstand.

The model was designed by 23-year-old French fan Guillaume Roussel as part of LEGO’s Ideas initiative, where the public proposes ideas for future kits. The toymaker agrees to actualize projects that have amassed 10,000 votes.

Describing his state of mind when dreaming up this kit, Roussel said: “When approaching the design, I asked myself ‘What could be creative, educational and touch most of the world?’”

“And the answer was just ‘the world itself.’”

Roussel was also inspired by the Jules Verne novel Around the World in Eighty Days.

The sphere measures 10 inches, while the stand brings its total height to 16 inches. It’s also got some options for customization, including an adorable ship, a flag to mark where you are, and even a sea monster, according to Gizmodo.
