Inclusive toy brand Little Omo unveils new food puzzles

Inclusive educational toy brand Little Omo has added to its offering with a fun new puzzle range. The WholeFood Puzzle collection aims to introduce kids to a variety of exotic fruits, vegetables, plants and legumes, while developing their fine motor skills.

Hand-made in the UK from FSC wood sourced in Ireland, the puzzles feature a variety of foods including sugarcane, mango, okra and plantain rather than more typical fruits such as apples and pears. A great starting point for anyone wanting to start a conversation with their child about where the foods originate from, the puzzles are ideal for introducing different cultures and encouraging kids to try new foods.

WholeFood One features Sugarcane, Dates, Ackee, Passionfruit, Guava, Mango and Coconut, while WholeFood Two includes Plantain, Black Eyed Beans, Sweet Potato, Spinach, Okra, Cassava and Broad Beans.

Little Omo founder Desiree Asoyomide says: “I created these WholeFood Puzzles as I didn’t have anything like them growing up – most puzzles or play-toys featured fruit like apples or bananas. The diversity of food is a great insight for young children wanting to learn about different things to eat. I am happy to have these puzzles as part of my collection and hope kids will enjoy playing with them while learning too.”

Priced at £21.99, each puzzle contains seven pieces and measures 29cm x 22.5cm. Available from www.littleomo.com.
